Community Healthcare Assistant (Drivers & Non-Drivers)
We are currently recruiting full & part time Community Healthcare Assistants to work in the following areas;
Applicable to all areas of Staffordshire
• We are currently recruiting Community Healthcare Assistants that hold a full UK driving license.
• Up to £10.00 per hour depending on experience and position.
• Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
• Affinity Homecare offer competitive rates of pay along with mileage allowance.
• Contracted hours (No zero hour)
• Holiday pay
• Alternate weekends off depending on availability
Area Co-ordinator
We are currently recruiting a full time area co-ordinator to work with the Area Manager. Core job role will be allocating duties and assist the management team in ensuring the smooth running of the Agency with the delivery of care to our service users.
The role:
• Induction training of new Care Staff
• Ensure care is delivered as per service user's Care Plans
• Maintain service user's Care Plans
• Attend service user's review when necessary
• Carry out spot checks and supervisions
• Ensuring staff are aware of the Agencies policies procedure and working system
• Ensure staff are aware of all Health & Safety issues
• Work alongside the staff to ensure the smooth running of the Agency, reporting any short falls to the Area Manager
• Have regular meetings with the Area Manager to discuss issues (i.e Training needs, resident's needs etc.)
• Assist in the completion of rotas for the allocated team when necessary
• Ensure staff attend mandatory training
Your Experience, Education and Qualifications:
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent (NVQ level 3 desirable)
• Experience of working within a team environment
• Experience of working within a community care setting (particularly people with disabilities).
• Flexible and adaptable
• Personal vehicle is required with business insurance
• DBS will be a requirement
